This is a critical time for all of us to notice how connected and interdependent we are as individuals living in the U.S. As an immigrant to this country, I want to tell you how important today is to me and my family, but it is also important for you and your family. We need each other and we belong together, whether U.S. born or born somewhere else on this amazing planet.

As hundreds of thousands of my precious brothers and sisters raise their voices and take to the streets to march today, I write to encourage you to reach out to someone today and show solidarity. Some things you can do: Find a juicy immigrant face today and listen to their story; go out and march; or refuse to spend money today!
