In accompanying stories, CNN reported that over one-half of the largest companies in the U.S. now offer same sex partner benefits and that the GLBT community represents $641 BILLION in purchasing power in this country.
Many GLBT people make their buying decisions based on which companies are considered progressive on GLBT issues. More and more companies are coming to understand that doing what'sright socially is very consistent with doing what's right for their business! Much of Pinellas County has already come to that conclusion too. Another sacred parallel.
